 What about using the track times for the oldest disc id (the one with the
 lowest index number? If that one is moved/removed, the next one will be
 used. If the last attached disc id is moved/removed, keep the current
 track times.

 This requires a single run to check all track times for releases with disc
 ids and change all track times. Some output with all tracks whose times
 have changed with more than some seconds would be needed too, to catch
 possible bad disc ids/track times.

 Any more thoughts on this?
