 I had the same problem and came here to report it when I found this
 ticket.  I upgraded from 0.7 stable.

 I found that the solution in ticket 2104 solved this problem.  That
 solution was

 "Hm, does it happen randomly or always? If always, you could try this:

    1. Run regedit
    2. Delete key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/MusicBrainz/MusicBrainz
 Picard/persist/WindowGeometry "
