 I believe this bug is one of the problems that were solved by moving to Qt
 in PicardQt (see age-old bugs like #64). You could try
 http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/PicardQt (which is a lot better than 0.7.2 in
 interface and other areas) but unfortunately currently suffers its own
 serious stability problems under Windows. I'd still use it above 0.7.2
 though, personally.

 My own personal opinion is that none of the MB Taggers are currently
 suitable for retagging an entire collection under Windows in one go;
 either for usability or stability reasons. Do it in chunks of 30 albums,
 then restart :-) Not sure about you, but I hate it when it crashes half
 way through and I can't recall where I was up to!
