 I get the following error message when loading many files (latest version
 from source repository, Ubuntu Feisty).

 Interestingly this seems to happen randomly. I was not able to reproduce
 it in all cases, but when I load a lot of files it happens at some point
 for sure. The file that is loaded just before the crash is random as well
 and loads fine if I load it separately.

 I guess this is some kind of race condition. I'll try to narrow this down
 further.

 This is similar to ticket #2201, which was reported for Picard 0.7.
