#5932: Picard corrupts some FLAC files
----------------------------------+-----------------------------------------

Version: Picard 0.12.1 | Keywords:
Os: Linux | Browser:

Picard seems to corrupt some (not all) FLAC files when writing tags. I am
running Picard 0.12.1 from the Ubuntu 11.04 repository with Mutagen 1.19,
also from the Ubuntu 11.04 repository. Well, it actually corrupts all
FLAC files (if flac -t is to be believed), but only some are corrupted to
the point that they won't play.
I tried using Ex Falso (which also uses Mutagen) to manually copy over the
tags from the corrupt FLAC file (Ex Falso was at least able to read the
tags) to the pristine FLAC file, and the resulting file seems to be OK, so
I don't believe that this is a problem with Mutagen (or if it is, it's a
very subtle and difficult-to-trigger problem).
