Hi!

I've been thinking about how we could make the dry facts in MusicBrainz 
a bit more accessible for people / give them a 'human face' :)
A lot of people wanted to have trivia in MB. So this is now my idea how 
a trivia page in MB could look like:

Perhaps not everything is selfexplaining but you should get the man idea:
Users can enter textual facts. People with special rights for this page 
can add queries+phrases which are regulary executed and stored - the 
page when loaded then selects a set of random facts and presents them. 
Birthdays of artists of type 'Person' and other special dates are 
collected by a script every day. Then we have a page about the editors 
in MB. This should contain a birthday calendar.

Robert said this could be stored under /trivia on the server.
The problem: I have no clue about how the db works, am no expert in SQL 
and.. well.. Perl is *choke* ;)
In other words: I need someone coding this, I need help in the design 
and I need your ideas.
Who wants to help me make this thing real? :)
