There are some bugs in the WS that have been fixed and will go live  
on Sunday. This query gets modern times:

http://test.musicbrainz.org/ws/1/release/? 
type=xml&artistid=72c536dc-7137-4477- 
a521-567eeb840fa8&releasetypes=Album+Official&limit=100

I forgot -- I need to add paging support to the WS queries, so that  
you can request further pages of results, and then sort them yourself:
