I was playing a little with the server code tonight and implemented a simple way of "merging" MBIDs (http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/ticket/912). The patch needs some cleanup (especially loading of objects from the database), but can you please look at it and tell me if something like this would be acceptable? -Lukáš
