[mb-devel] Can musicbrainz support lighttpd to replace apache ?

MusicBrainz is different than most open source projects in that the  
real value is not in the code, but in the data the code produces.  
Think Wikipedia. Having many people run servers doesn't really help  
the project. Having many people *use* the server that's already set  
up does help. Hence, the focus on APIs, as opposed to letting the  
server run anywhere.
