[mb-devel] Actually Active?

Hey Lucas,

Thanks for your reply. You answer is a little unclear, but I think you are
talking about ID3v2.3 vs ID3v2.4 - which is suspected might be the problem.
But I didn't think that picard was saving the album art in the tags. Aside
from my bug, can you elaborate any more on the current status of the code? I
confess, I also probably don't have a lot of time to devote towards coding
for picard. But I guess there are two questions, 1 - what is the main point
of rewriting picard? Is it mainly just the ui that is being rewritten? 2 -
why are you the only developer? As a community, MB seems to be fairly large
and still growing fairly rapidly from what I can tell. So, I'm not sure why
there are not more people that are willing/able to help out with the coding.

Thanks,
Ryan

I suspect this caused by saving tags with cover art in version 2.4, which
iTunes can't read correctly. Try to change it in Picard to 2.3 and check if
it still happens. If yes, please file a bug report on
http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/ and ideally also attach first few KBs of the
file (or send it to me by e-mail).

Picard is currently being rewritten, but as my real job is keeping me busy I
don't have as much free time for it as I had when I started, so it goes
quite slowly. More information about the development is on
