Hi all,
Today I'd like to announce the first beta version of the Java MusicBrainz
Web Service Client (jmb-wsc). The Java library contains various classes for
accessing the MusicBrainz Web Service and parsing the MusicBrainz Metadata
XML (MMD). It is basically a port of the reference implementation
python-musicbrainz-2, opening the amazing MusicBrainz database to the Java
world. If you are familiar with the Python MusicBrainz API, you will have no
problem getting started with the Java version. The library is released under
a BSD style Open Source license; allowing you to freely use and modify it.
Please find the source and binary package here:

You can also have a look at the javadoc online:

I hope you enjoy it and I'm looking forward to hear your feedback. If you
find any bugs, please report them to me. New releases will be made available
at http://www.ruhkopf.name/jmb-wsc (at least for now).
@MusicBrainz developer team: If you find this library useful, I'd be glad to
contribute it to the MusicBrainz source repository. Also, if people start
using it, it would be a good idea to have some bug tracker. What do you
think?
Best regards
Patrick Ruhkopf
