[mb-devel] Future-proof FP design sketch

Hello all,
I've been attracted to musicbrainz after trying to fill a specification that
I require for another project I am working on, on the liquidsoap team
(http://savonet.sourceforge.net
) this summer I will be developing a new GUI to bring more power to open
source software radio stations.
Within one of the features we require is more accurate recording of tracks
played for licensing purposes, from a radio stream perspective we'd need to
be taking regular samples to detect songs.

Anyway from the wiki I came across the FutureProofFingerPrint entry, in the
final year of my Maths & Computer Science degree I will be doing projects in
'Cryptography signatures' and 'XML compliant JPEG 2000 signatures' and to
such an end that at the end of my degree I should be able to pursue the
requirements and benefit the musicbrainz project.

Anyway that's my hello and I look forward to discussing this interesting
project.
