The only important information to who?

But, people have two parents, not just one. There is absolutely no reason
(apart from politics) why MusicBrainz can't show both. Adding the missing
Cynthia Powell entry, would close the open incomplete parent/child
relationship and also show that John Lennon had two wifes. This is
completing the information on two artists.

so, if somebody wants to know who his other parent is, you're basically
telling them to get the information somewhere else. Isn't this going
against the " ....attempts to create a comprehensive music information
site" claim on the front page?

Why? Adding only to the level where there is a direct relationship to an
artist is not going to create a problem and completes the information held
on an artist.
