Well, I have seen (in other places than MB) 2000-XX-XX, not anything else


I don't think this is a particularly big issue, but avoiding place
> holders seems, to me, to be the cleanest solution.


To me too, it is just that I don't want to set rules for everything. The
fact that I would use the simple format doesn't mean that I am right, or
that there is a right position, for that matter.
