Doesn't make sense to me either, unless "Symphony Nos. 5, 9" was  
written on the cover.  Just use the album's title.

I think we had some consensus on using one piece of identifying  
information (No. 9) for example.  Once you have Symphony No. 9 there's  
no need for "in D minor".
