A lot of liner notes are not so specific as you describe. If a liner
note says "drums on this release by ABC" this is still valuable
information. But you can't say for sure if it applies to all tracks on
the release. That's what Brian means by "fuzzines". If it is clear
that the information applies to all the tracks on the release we can
add the AR to all individual track and there is no need for a release
level AR then. The whole point is for allowing release level AR if
that's all the information available.
