I'm not convinced it would really solve the problem any more than the
current proposal would. If you can implement something to turn a list of
relationships into something that will fit into the artist name field,
you can even more easily implement something to detect and move " feat.
A, B & C" to the recording name.
You would convert the current artist to performers? What about all the
stuff credited to composers (classical, soundtracks), mixers (DJ-mixes,
mash-ups), special purpose artists, etc?
