What happens with edits that are still open when an OpenEdit to that album
passes?
a) The edit remains a VotingEdit.
b) The edit immediately turns into an AutoEdit and gets applied.
I would opt for b) because
* The voting mechanism tells you "There are already pending changes to
that item" so you know what will happen.
* This way you could enter many edits to an album and also and OpenEdit.
Ir the OpenEdit gets applied first, everything else passes.
This would also address the motivational issues Joe Emenaker pointed out.
