After all the discussion on the mailing list problem, Robert and me
decided to add a new list mb-experts for discussions about the development
of MusicBrainz for experienced users.

This new list should provide a multi-purpose forum for experienced users
to discuss the future and development of MusicBrainz and to constructively
criticize current features and procedures. It is a place where those
people that are already involved in a concrete project (like developing a
new feature) can communicate without being disturbed by newcomers.

see http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/wiki.pl?ExpertsMailingList for more
information

This is an open and public mailing list. So if you have recently been
involved in some development project or discussion, then please subscibe
to this list.

Hopefully a culture will emerge in which *anything* can be discussed on
mb-users and people can 'retreat' from this high volume list into the
still public sphere of mb-experts if they need a quieter and more focussed
environment for collaboration.

Current projects that have drifted off into private mails and which should
be pursued on mb-experts are (only those I know of):
  - the WikiDocs concept and schedule, and details of porting the wiki to
MoinMoin
  - G0llums project to do an animate flash introduction to MusicBrianz
  - using gmane or something else to better embedd the mailing lists into
the website.
