...and yet another argument:
If the beginnings of titles are analogous to the beginnings of sentences
(as I think they are) then it makes sense that the "always capitalize the
first word" rule should trump most reasons to use lowercase.
For instance, the music downloading service I like most has decided that
its name is "eMusic." But I am NOT going to write sentences like "eMusic
sent me an email apologizing for the mistake" -- I would start it with
"Emusic..." If I wanted to write a laudatory song about it, I would title
it "Emusic is Good," not "eMusic is Good."
Finally, we could appeal to what is used in print. My copy of the Miles
Davis classic album (2001 reissue CD) says "'Round About Midnight" on the
spine and the first track is titled "'Round Midnight" on the back.
