Its a matter of scale, really. A $10 or even $100 donation keeps us
afloat paying the bills.

But what I am aiming for is hiring a developer or two, which means
securing 2-3 (myself included in that math) paychecks for people. And
before I am comfortable asking someone to join MB, I need to be sure
that we can pay the bills for a set duration that I can promise the
new hires. Just think, would you sign onto an outfit that couldn't
promise more than 2-3 months worth of pay? Most people wouldn't, and
I certainly don't want to hire anyone under these conditions.

So, really I want to have more money secured (in the bank or solidly
pledged by a corp) before I go and hire people.
