... I have run across three anomalies.  Two may be 'on purpose' and I 
can work around them.  The third is more of a real problem.  I wanted to 
hear the knowledge and experience of others before I call these bugs.

1)  The existing tag has a track time of zero.

2)  The track on the selected album has no track time, even though the 
existing tag has a correct track time.

3)  The selected album is "Non Album Tracks"

In all three cases, the new tag is not written, and the track goes to 
the 'error file' bin.

*   I can see this being OK behavior for case (2).  The work around is 
to go to MB, enter the track time to the track in question, and press on.

*  For case (1) the work around is to manually enter the track time to 
the existing tag and try again.  However, I do not see why Picard will 
not edit such existing tags.

*  For case (3) - Picard should be able to handle this task too.

Any ideas and similar experience?
