[mb-users] "aditionally guest performed" howto

Hi!

I'm having a bit of problem representing "featuring" artists on
tracks. I have an album I'm editing where some tracks have a "feat. X"
mark. This would be an instance of the "performed" relationship, but
I'm not sure exactly what attributes to use.

If I use just "guest performed", the album tracklisting on the MB
album page will list "was guest performed by X" for those tracks. This
wording suggests that the tracks are performed _only_ by X, however.

If I use "aditionally guest performed" it seems to weaken the
relationship too much.

Just "aditionally performed" seems wrong because the instructions say
"guest" should be used for performers not usually part of the band.

(In this particular case I've a bit more of a problem: the X artist is
credited as a "featuring artist" on the first few albums, but later
joined the band.)

The only way I see to unambiguously credit the track is to add another
"performed by" relationship with no attributes, for the whole band.
But that seems very wrong, because the tracks are already credited to
the band; it's not a VA album for a reason, right?

So, am I missing something? Should we try another wording?
