Well I don't know about Andrew, but I listen by piece or work, such as a
concerto or symphony, that is, an ordered sequence of usually 3, 4 or 5
tracks (each movement is typically recorded as a track).
An album often has 2 or 3 such works; a symphony for example may be
filled out with some liede (songs) to fill up the space.
This is the other reason that album/artist/track doesn't work in
classical; the first being the fact that artist needs to be split into
(at least) composer and performer.
