...which is almost always the case.  Even browsing by track name isn't
very good, because I have about 7000 tracks in my collection so it's
difficult to move through them quickly.

I was afraid of this.  I'm tempted to give up on using MusicBrainz for
my classical, because while it took a bit more time tagging things on
my own, at least they were indexed logically.  In the meantime, I'll
look into NGS; it looks like there's a nice wiki page on the subject.

Any more ideas would be most welcome.
