You can't deduce anything from a PUID in and of itself, because it's just an
identifier.  We do have info in the  main databases about how long the track
was when it came in - if this is useful, we might want to look at exposing
it through the MusicDNS service.

(Or I could set up a report against the MusicBrainz db and automatically
flag all the PUID's which seem to be assigned to inconsistent track
lengths...)
