Yes, I agree.
Still, I prefer something that looks good for english
grammar/typographic-rules (replace "english" by any other language),
rather than following what is done on cd covers, which we know are
most time rather fantasist and guided by "graphic/design"
considerations rather than good usage.

No, I didn't...
I'm sorry if it was not clear:
The initial post was co-signed by *Joan* and *me* as we wanted a
*common*, *flameless*, and *neutral* first-post question about an
issue.
Though:
- Joan did at that time thought the small r was the way to go.
- Joan thought the generic rule should be small cap
- I did at that time thought the Big R was the way to go.
- I don't have an opinion about the generic case, as I'm a non-native english

Now (and I'm sure Joan would agree):
We both want a sane and *shared* resolution, and we'll *both* comply
to it, even if it goes against our initial thought.

And of course, calling on Artist Intent for some problematic/specific
cases is always possible.
