[mb-users] Structured XHTML: New search option

Hi,

Instead of opening a new ticket right away I decided to raise the matter 
of the new search option on the mailing list first. I expect the 
necessary discussion, which isn't as easy to keep track of in a ticket.

As stated in the Structured XHTML Call For Testing blog entry [1]: 'The 
current set of search fields has caused some confusion to people on 
there first visit. Some people have tried to combine search fields, 
which does not work.'.
I think that introducing the proposed new search option in the sidebar 
will increase the confusing even more. The fact is that people are 
entering multiple search terms in the separate fields intuitively. 
That's how I expected it to work as well the first time I wanted to 
provide multiple search term. Instead of introducing a new search field 
again, it would be much cleaner and more logical to make it actually 
work as expected. Why provide an additional search field for a second 
argument while all fields are already displayed and can already be 
filled in?

...Unless, of course, I'm confused about the purpose of the new 
additional search now ;-)
