Matthias answered you on the blog -- in essence Lukáš wants to get  
feedback about the library before a final release. I would suggest  
that you dive in, install it and attempt to use it for your project.  
If you find bugs, enter a bug report and chances are that Lukáš will  
fix them quickly.

In other words, you can drive the process! Please do!
