True.

A nice  situation would be something along the lines of 'is also known
as' or 'was previously known as <-> is now known as' when it's got a
dates attached.

Even Amazon list it both ways, depending what version you look at.

I'm pretty sure everything has been reissued under the new name at
some point or another (and it is the artists stated intention to do
so, so if it hasn't yet, it's going to be.)

Personally I can go either way on this one anyway.  I used to think
they should be split, now I am more inclined to do as the artist
wishes.  On the other hand, I don't own a nice vinyl copy of the
original soundtrack, and if I did, I'd probably file it under Carlos,
W. and avoid the whole question.
