Probably because nobody has bothered to enter the other names. For
example, I just last week added Chicago Transit Authority as the
release artist for the first Chicago album. IMO, the release artist
should be as used when the release was released (with all due respect
to W. Carlos' personal wish to have everyone forget her past name). On
my to-do list is to add Walter Carlos so I can properly credit that
artist name as it was known for releases in the the early 70's. Just
haven't gotten around to it yet.
