Hi Robert, Thanks for ur advice. I posted it on mb-devel as well.

Actually I didn't install mod_perl, I think mod_perl comes with inside
the VMware. I try to see how many mod_perl.h in the VM by:
brainzvm: # locate mod_perl.h
/usr/include/apache-1.3/modules/perl/mod_perl.h
brainzvm:# locate mod_perl
/usr/include/apache-1.3/modules/perl/mod_perl.h
/usr/include/apache-1.3/modules/perl/mod_perl_version.h
/usr/include/apache-1.3/modules/perl/mod_perl_xs.h
/usr/lib/apache/1.3/400mod_perl.info
/usr/lib/apache/1.3/mod_perl.so
/usr/lib/perl5/cgi_to_mod_perl.pod
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_cvs.pod
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_hooks.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_hooks.pm.PL
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_method_handlers.pod
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl.pod
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_traps.pod
/usr/lib/perl5/mod_perl_tuning.pod
/usr/share/doc/libapache-mod-perl/examples/makepl_args.mod_perl
/usr/share/man/man3/cgi_to_mod_perl.3pm.gz
/usr/share/man/man3/mod_perl.3pm.gz
/usr/share/man/man3/mod_perl_cvs.3pm.gz
/usr/share/man/man3/mod_perl_method_handlers.3pm.gz
/usr/share/man/man3/mod_perl_traps.3pm.gz
/usr/share/man/man3/mod_perl_tuning.3pm.gz
Only one mod_perl.h is found, does that mean only one mod_perl has been
installed?
By the way, are you using Apache 1.3 or Apache 2.0 ?
Is it possible Apache::AuthDigest is not compatible with Apache 1.3?

I am using this for testing, and see how the XML webservice is working.
If this problem can't be fixed, I may try to install Debian and then
mb_server by myself. I think there would be more headache for that, but
I have no choices.
