That is, IIRC, default on (at least some) other platforms as well. If
it really bothers you, file an issue with Apple and/or in the Firefox
bugzilla. (FTR, I agree that it would be nice to have an option
in-between the current two, but I'm actually not too bothered with
having to tab through links - after all, that makes it possible to
"click" a link using just the keyboard!)
