[mb-users] Old web service API down?

I've not been able to retrieve data from MusicBrainz using the GNOME
sound-juicer CD ripper since at least the recent database upgrade (probably
it's been broken since before that, but I'm not sure).

The only two computers I could test run sound-juicer 2.16.3 (Ubuntu, latest
stable version) and sound-juicer 2.16.4 (Fedora, test release). With both I
get the FreeDB results, even though when I try submitting the CD it takes me
to the existing page in the database.

So, I'm entertaining two hypotheses right now:
- either sound-juicer 2.16.x has broken musicbrainz support, or
- the old RDF based web service is down

Considering libmusicbrainz 3.0 is not out yet, if the service is indeed
down, what's the recommended current solution? sound-juicer allows for the
MusicBrainz server URL to be overridden, but I could not find any such
instruction on the MB site itself.

Thanks,
