[mb-users] Tracking down CD TOC edits

Hello!

I'm trying to track down who added a certain CD TOC to an album, to
ask for some clarification.

I tried looking for CD TOC edits attached to that artist, but
apparently not all of them are there:
http://musicbrainz.org/mod/search/results.html?mod_type=32&artist_type=3&artist_id=33910

That doesn't seem to work completely, since obviously the TOC linked
above isn't shown. I assume this is because linking the edits to
artists/albums was only added recently to the database, and the
corresponding links (between that specific TOC edit and the artist)
aren't in the database. Would it be possible to run a script that
examines all the old edits (before the database enhancements) and adds
automatically the corresponding links? (At least some of them are
always detectable, since we can see which are the objects related to
the TOC.)

In fact, this could be done for all types of "old-type" edits where
the links can be deduced now. (E.g., if an old edit was attached to,
say, a track, we can also safely attach it to the album and the artist
that "contain" that track.) Is there something I'm missing here that
would make that impossible?
