Yes, tagging issues should be solved in the tagger.

If the full title doesn't fit due to technical constraints (does
musicbrainz have a 255 character limit on album titles?), I would use
whatever shorthand the release is commonly known as. But I don't
think there is a guideline on it, and if this title doesn't fit a
bug should be filed and hopefully fixed at some point.
