If they won't work on a14, they won't work in b1. Why don't you
download it and try it out? Unless you have any custom made/edited
plugins, I believe they should work (assuming you also fetch the most
recent versions from the plugins page). If they don't, fix them[1] or
uninstall a14/b1 and re-install/go back to a11[2]. Shouldn't be that
difficult.

[1] According to http://wiki.musicbrainz.org/PicardQt/ChangeLog ,
there's only once been a change in the API, introduced in a12, which
should be trivial to correct.
