MusicBrainz is more than just the tagger. And it's quite easy to
convert things like ellipsis to something compatible in the tagger
application.

Apart from this I find the idea of supporting more typographic correct
tags in MB interesting. But I think it will be difficult to establish
since most of those typographic characters can not be easily entered
and most users don't know or care much about them.
