DiscIDs are pretty useless to vinyl editors, such as myself... And if
you don't think tagging is the place for "seen-live" etc, then I think
you're misunderstanding the purpose of tagging. Tagging is all about
social benefit (or should be!) the majority of users may not see much
point in going to there favourite artists and tagging them "Rock" or
"Jazz", but it may be very beneficial to add tags to artists like
"watch-in-the-future" or "recommended-by-steve" or whatever because
then it has some personal benefit.
