It's a long shot posting here, but I'm wondering whether anyone knows about
amazon.py. It's a Python module written originally by Mark Pilgrim for
doing searches at Amazon. I think that people other than myself use it for
searches applying data obtained from MusicBrainz. For example, MusicBrainz
provides an ASIN and then amazon.py can be used to access cover art based
on that ASIN. It seems that Amazon has just turned off Amazon Ecommerce
Web Service 3.0 (as of today), on which amazon.py is based, in favor of
Amazon Associates Web Service 4.0. As a consequence, searches using
amazon.py no longer work. Does anyone know what changes need to be made to
amazon.py to make it work with the new service? I found ecs.py at
SourceForge. It looks to be a successor, but it is enough different from
amazon.py that I haven't figured out yet how to use it.
