When entering the Musical Dreamgirls a stumbled upon a problem which a
cannot find in the wiki.

Dreamgrils is composed by Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger, that's easy.

After that the tracks, I entered the broadway version as a normal album
and made a lot of AR's to the artists singing the songs. (see:
http://musicbrainz.org/release/fc092bc2-b243-44ed-abd8-366631b18f86.html)

But when looking at the movie soundtrack I discovered that it was
entered as a various artists kind of album with a lot of "Jennifer
Hudson, Beyonce Knowles, & Anika Noni Rose" kind of artists (and some
errors but that is not the point right now). (see
http://musicbrainz.org/release/7c9ca4a1-0654-438c-9f81-b668b9cff3fb.html)

Looking at other musicals I saw there is no consistent way of entering a
musical soundtracks. So (without knowing that this isn't discussed
before, hit me if it was...) what is the right way to enter a musical?

I vote for the way I did it because it was a lot of work (and looks okay
to me and the edits will finally end up with the right artists when
looking for Beyoncé but doesn't turn up when you are looking at the
releases of Hinton Battle ), and I DO know that I had to change a lot of
albums in that way, but I really have don't have a social live ;-)

Fred.
