Well, I also don't have a real opinion in that, because I don't really
know how people "feel" the "de" in their names.
I only want to not, that you better not rip a "de" apart from a name
like "Dewender". This is actually a german name, as far at exists only
in Germany, but it has a dutch origin NOT connected to an "ordinary
de". Dutch people might know a city called "Deventer". I am not saying
that for no reason. When I lived in the states for a year, I had my
name spelled like "DeWender" quite often.

I also don't think we can please everyone, because there is everything
in between a "de" that is felt as unimportant and a "de" that
is "close" to beeing a prefix for a Name, that is only "still"
separated with a space. We should use the most common case, but I don't
know which one that would be.

For the technical stuff:
"Last, First de" has no need of a technical change, "de Last, First"
needs no change and "Last, _de, First" first can actually be defined by
a styleguide, without a change and after a change it can be moved to
another solution quite easy (these 2-3 names that actually have a "_de"
in their name can be changed back manually..).
