[mb-users] Find an MBID from a PUID

I'm relatively new to the MusicBrainz community, so forgive me if I've  
missed something.

I'm looking up the PUIDs of a few test MP3's using genpuid under  
Fedora 8. I'm using the resulting PUID to query the MusicBrainz  
XMLWebService. For example:

1) genpuid is giving me a PUID of 07042298-3e03-dce3-fce1-fd9223105d62  
for the song "All the small things" by Blink-182.

2) I then use that PUID to construct a query to MusicBrainz like so: http://musicbrainz.org/ws/1/track/07042298-3e03-dce3-fce1-fd9223105d62?type=xml

3) I receive a 404 error. What surprises me is that this is (or was) a  
fairly popular song at one point, and it's not coming up. However, if  
I do a string-based query using "blink-182" for the artist and "all  
the small things" as the track name, I get results back.

I've tested 6 MP3's so far, and I've received 404's for ALL of them  
from the MusicBrainz service. My question is, am I doing this right?  
Do I need to somehow look up an MBID for a PUID and use that resulting  
MBID in the query to the XMLWebService?
