[mb-users] "The need for free and open music metadata", but MB not good enough

I kindof agree that MusicBrainz is a bit too complicated for "anyone" to get
involved with when it comes to editing, but
 1) Is this necessarily a bad thing?
 2) It's mainly an interface & design issue.
When it comes to point 2, I'd have many ideas, but as it is now editing MB
data is relaxing from other duties for me, like other people would play
Solitaire, while getting involved in development and design would be just
another duty.

But to the main point, I feel that if some competent music nerd feels
another site, such as discogs or mr. Gratton's, fits them better, that's a
good thing. Don't fear competition; the more data available online the
better...
