But databases have a sui-generis protection under the Berna convention. So
you can copyright a database of un-copyrightable things. This is what
discogs is doing with their users data.

Or pay $$$ the Foundation so they can bypass the license. This is a great
way to sustain an open/libre project. Free if you play by my rules, costly
if you want to play with your (old?) rules.
