A great idea in my opinion, and one that should be quite easy to do  
technically speaking.

Another advantage not mentioned is that if we weigh edits from new editors  
heavily then their edits will be pushed through much quicker than they  
usually would, which should hopefully encourage them to do more edits.  
It's sort of "false advertisment", but making edits easier and faster for  
new editors is a good thing in my opinion.

It would also stop new editors from attaching their myspace accounts to  
"Various Artists". ;)
