"Rondo" in French is tolerated as a variant spelling of the proper
"rondeau" when referring only to the musical form of a rondeau (rondo
as far as I can tell is the one used in English word).
Rondeau*x* is the plural form - so, it's not exactly equivalent ;).
Menuet is the French spelling of the English minuet, and apparently
sometimes considered a tolerable spelling variant in English as well.
Or did you meant difference between menuet and rondeau? In that case,
yes, they refer to different things.
