The announcement for Summer of Code came out today:

I've been looking at possible activities for the summer and I really like
the idea of helping to develop MusicBrainz. (And I'm an impoverished student
who can't simply take the summer off and code without any income.) Are there
plans for MusicBrainz to be a mentoring organization this year?
