We are seeking a music geek to take charge of our metadata catalogue.

What you'll be doing
    * Create and maintain a set of tools to organize and merge items 
      (tracks, album, artists, etc) with incorrect names.
    * Integrate and analyse multiple sources of information (eg:
MusicBrainz, 
      our Fingerprint data, listening patterns, moderation data, etc.)
    * Process large quantities of data

Requirements
    * Sufficient programming experience: you will have to create tools to
perform automatic merging
    * String manipulation knowledge (eg: edit distance, transliteration,
transcription, etc..)
    * Databases & basic SQL
    * Familiarity with revision control systems (we use SVN)
    * You must be a music organization freak
    * A thorough and organized way of working

Pluses
    * Experience manipulating large quantities of data
    * MusicBrainz
    * Hadoop
