Is Picard enabled to scan for PUIDs?  If a PUID is matched, Picard  
will automatically move identified files over to a release.      Go to  
Preferences and then check "Automatically scan all new files".

Another way is to select a group of files, right-click them, select  
Details, and then enter the artist and album tags manually.  Then you  
should be able to cluster them and do a lookup or "magic wand" lookup.
